You can never replace someone you have loved. They become the person in your life that knows more about you than you know about yourself. They are there for you through your ups and your downs and they love you regardless of all of your quirks or downfalls. They love the crazy things about you and understand the things you say that make no sense to anyone else. However, sometimes these relationships just don't, or cant, work out. Nobody seems understands the pain your are going through. And, for the first time you realize that your heart actually can physically hurt. It feels like it is being torn into a thousand different pieces and thrown into the sea. You wonder if you are ever going to be able to move on or get past this breaking point in your life. But you do. When you least expect it, you will finally find peace again. Of course, part of your heart will always belong to that person. You gave them everything, and you shared the most hidden parts of your lives with each other. But, your heart has a lot left to give. Eventually you will be ready to share your love with someone else, someone that makes you feel important and loved again. It doesn't mean you will forget about your first love and everything you shared with them. That can never be replaced or erased. But you can share those things with someone else that cares about you just as much. Who knows what the future holds, but when you spend too much time reflecting on the past you miss out on the gifts of the present. Enjoy the surprises that come with living life one day at a time.

Life is Full of Suprises
